Anvendelsen af PUR lime vinder hastigt frem i industrien. Dette som en følge af stigende krav til produktegenskaber og øget kvalitet samt at limene bliver både billigere og mere tilgængelige at håndtere miljø-mæssigt.
Pizzi har udviklet en ny pneumatisk trykføde-beholder, så håndteringen bliver endnu nemmere og der sikres en ensartet påføring og dosering af limen. Denne model er beregnet til én-komponent lim, der ophærder ved kontakt med luftens fugtighed.
Den består af en beholder og et ydre skjold i rustfrit stål med 4 lukkehager, således at den er godkendt efter de europæiske CE-normer. Der medfølger 4 meter forstærket, thermoplastic slange, der er bestandig overfor opløsningsmidlerne. Herudover en pistol til påføringen, hvortil der kan leveres mange former for standard og specialtilpassede dyser.
Et komprimerbart limkammer, der indeholder et specialfilter til absorbering af fugt, eliminerer muligheden for kontakt med luften og forhindrer for tidlig hærdning af polyurethan-limen. Det giver en ensartet, forsigtig og effektiv fødning af limen gennem den håndholdte applikatorpistol.
